The results to be achieved within the project are:

Sensitization for schools, training centres and teams

Creation and implementation of special Dual career paths

Sensitization for schools, training centres and teams

After conducting research on ELET (Early Leaving from Education and Training) and the school dropout situation in their countries, partners will promote sensitization campaigns in schools, training centres and football clubs about this issue. Afterwards, the partners will conduct group interviews and focus groups in order to identify key strategies for the program, and develop a report on the main needs and good practices at the European level regarding ELET, which will be useful to frame the final dual career guidelines.

Creation and implementation of special Dual career paths

The actual dual career path will be implemented in each country, involving schools with a high share of ELET, and partnering them with football clubs from the same area. The partnership will allow student-players to obtain benefits at school thanks to their participation in the program; while the requirement to be enrolled in school to play in the team will serve as an endorsement for youngsters to complete the school year. The Dual career path includes psychological activities to be implemented during football training and which will allow players to develop life skills useful for their future.
